You reply with your USDC (ERC-20) wallet address
Your prize is paid in USDC on the Ethereum network. You'll be asked for a wallet address that starts with
0xand is 42 characters long. In the EU or UK, give your MetaMask address. If you don't have one yet, our USDC wallet guide takes about 15 minutes to follow, but do it before you win, because account verification can take a few days. -
Your prize is sent and you cash it out
Once the USDC arrives you can keep it, or sell it for dollars, euros or pounds and withdraw to your bank. The guide covers cashing out in the US, EU, UK and other regions.
We don't share the sender's personal details. If you're in the EU or UK, where exchanges often ask who sent a deposit, receive your prize in your own MetaMask wallet first. Here's how.
MitchJones will never…
A real prize is free to receive. If any message asks for one of these, it's a scam, even if it looks official.
- Ask you to pay anythingNo "processing fee", "tax", "gas fee", "unlock deposit" or "verification payment". You never send money to get a prize.
- Ask for your recovery phrase or private keyYour 12 or 24 secret words and your private key are the keys to your wallet. Nobody legitimate ever needs them.
- Ask you to connect your wallet to a websiteNo "claim portal", no "sign this transaction", no QR code to scan. We only need your address, and we send to it.
- Message you from another account or appNot from a second Twitch account, a mod, Discord, X, Instagram, Telegram, WhatsApp, email or text message.
- Ask for your passwords or 2FA codesNot for Twitch, your exchange, your bank or your email. Ever.
- Ask you to download anythingNo apps, browser extensions, "payout tools" or files. Install wallet apps only from the official app stores or websites.
Don't reply and don't click any links. On Twitch, click their name and choose Report, then Block. If you already shared your recovery phrase, move your funds to a brand-new wallet immediately. That phrase is compromised.
Scammers sometimes send worthless tokens named "USDC" to winners' addresses, with a website in the name. Real USDC on Ethereum comes from the contract 0xA0b86991c6218b36c1d19D4a2e9Eb0cE3606eB48. Ignore any other token and never visit links in token names.
