Giveaway rules

The giveaway is for real viewers. Every winner is reviewed before they're paid, and a prize can be denied if an entry breaks any of these rules.

The rules

What we check for

No purchase necessary

All you need to enter is a Twitch account, nothing else.

  1. Who can enter

You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that's higher. Your entry must also follow the laws of your country, state or region. If those laws limit how much a prize can be, your prize may be adjusted to comply. Void in New York, Florida and wherever prohibited by law.

  2. One person, one account

Each person may enter with one Twitch account. Entering with alternate accounts, or getting other people to enter on your behalf, disqualifies every account involved.

  3. Genuine accounts only

Enter with your own account that you actually use to watch. Accounts that are bought, borrowed, shared, or created mainly to collect giveaways may be denied, and so may entries made with bots, scripts or any other automation.

  4. No ban evasion

Accounts banned from a channel can't enter or win on that channel. Using a different account to get around a ban or timeout on Mitch's, Soda's or Nick's channel disqualifies all of your accounts.

  5. Winners from the same household are reviewed

If more than one winner comes from the same household, or winners share a payout wallet, we review those prizes together. Whether more than one is approved is at our discretion.

  6. We need to be able to verify you

If you win, reply from the winning Twitch account in the official MitchJones whisper and answer any questions we have about your account. If we can't confirm that the winner is legitimate and controls the winning account, or we don't hear back, the prize may be denied.

  7. Reply within 48 hours

You have 48 hours from when MitchJones contacts you to reply in the Twitch whisper. If you don't reply in time, you're no longer eligible. If your whispers are turned off, we'll try to reach you 3 times before your prize is denied.

  8. Prizes go to the winner

Prizes are paid in USDC on the Ethereum network (ERC-20) to a wallet the winner controls. A prize can't be transferred, sold or claimed for someone else.

  9. Taxes are the winner's responsibility

Winners are responsible for any taxes that apply to their prize where they live.

  10. Play fair

Spamming, harassing the streamers, moderators or other viewers, or trying to manipulate how winners are picked can get your entry or prize denied.

  11. Review decisions are final

We may deny any entry or prize that we believe breaks these rules or the spirit of the giveaway, at any point before it's paid.

After you win

How review works

Every prize starts as pending while we review the winner. Approved prizes are paid to the winner's USDC address. Denied prizes aren't paid.

Denied prizes don't count toward the giveaway tracker

The tracker on the home page adds up prizes as they're awarded. If a prize is denied during review, it's removed from the tracker total.

Nobody can buy their way through review

No one can speed up a review or reverse a denial for a fee. Winners are only ever contacted by twitch.tv/MitchJones, so treat anyone else who messages you about your prize as a scam. Learn the warning signs.

Blizzard and Twitch aren't involved in this giveaway, so please don't contact them about prizes.
